The Maxxeon WorkStar magnetic trouble lights feature 2 round, co-planar, nickel plated floating rare-earth magnets that let you quickly, easily and securely attach the work light to any local ferrous surface. The magnets are strong enough to securely hold the LED light even if there is very little metal surface available to bond to, for example a narrow hood support or a single bolt head. An interesting and effective design feature, the magnets "float" a few thousands of an inch to allow better attachment to uneven surfaces such as pipes or rods.
